On October 8th and 9th 2015, the Research Center for Business Models in the Digital World organized a business-oriented conference on “Digitalization and value creation.”

Renowned key-note speakers from the business and academic sectors presented on the topics, challenges and solutions relevant to the context of company digitalization. A main focus was placed on the effects of companies’ digital transformation on their business models. The particularly high quality of the contributions was evident in the interdisciplinary view and the examples of different industry sectors. Furthermore, the combined view against the backdrop of the most up to date research findings based on academic studies and companies’ practical experiences provided valuable insights and stimuli.
